There is something very rewarding photographing newborn babies. Being a father to three children I know how precious your newborn baby is. I always feel privileged to record the very early days of a new life which is why none of my newborn sessions are rushed or against the clock. Safety is paramount and always at the forefront of my mind throughout the entire session.

Before the session I will have an informal chat to discuss what you want from the day. I love to try and include a prop that connects you and your baby. It could be a sentimental blanket, item of jewellery or a prop from your hobbies.

A lot of newborn photographers will charge initially for the actual sitting of the session. This is can be anything up to £200.00 There is then a post session viewing appointment where the minimum spend can be £200.00 +

With Bassetts Photos there is a small booking fee of £20.00 and no minimum spend.

Due to these costs a lot of parents are unable to afford images of their newborn baby. However by choosing Bassetts Photos you can have beautiful images that will you will cherish forever. For more information on my price plans please view the information and prices page.

If you are interested then please contact me during your pregnancy to reserve a provisional date. Newborn sessions are usually done within the first 7-10 days of birth.
