As a younger man I was a keen sportsman, jack of all trades but master of none. Although my playing days are less these days I still watch a lot of different sports, due mainly to having three sporty children. It’s these two factors that have helped me master one of the key ingredients of sports photography ….. anticipation. Knowing the rules of a sport and anticipating what might happen next increase the chances of capturing ‘That Moment’.
